The European Association for Decision Making (EADM) is an interdisciplinary organisation dedicated to the study of normative, descriptive, and prescriptive theories of decision making.

It has it origins in a Research Conference on Subjective Probability, organised in 1969 by Wendt, Stael von Holstein and Vlek in Hamburg. From 1971 the conferences broadened their scope to Subjective Probability, Utility and Decision Making (SPUDM), and were organised biannually in venues all over Western and Eastern Europe. The Association was founded formally in August 1993.

EADM invites submissions for its

2013 Biennial SPUDM24 conference

SPUDM24 will be held at IESE Business School, Barcelona, Spain from 18-22 August 2013. The organizing committee is pleased to announce that the conference will feature the following invited speakers: Timothy D. Wilson, Colin F. Camerer, Robin Hogarth, and Ralph Hertwig. The EADM site offers many useful resources for student and faculty with an interest in decision making. For example, you can learn more about Judgment and Decision making by reading our latest EADM articles, browsing the latest publications  in JDM journals, Learning and Teaching resources, etc.

Use your mouse to go over the Resources tab in the main menu and hover or click on the Student & Faculty tab: you will have access to the complete list of resources available.

It is our ambition to provide resources on judgment and decision-making specifically designed for special audiences (Professionals/Practitioners, members of the Public, the Media).
